Get your ‘PADI’ and join a world-wide community of people who enjoy a really wonderful sport. This course is the most popular scuba diving training programme in the world. Normally taking 3 to 4 days the course is a balanced mixture of theory, skills practise in the pool and open water dives. Virtually anyone with a reasonable level of health and fitness can complete the Open Water Diver course. Participants as young as 10 years old may complete the PADI Open Water Diver program and receive a junior credential; this may be upgraded to full certification once the participant reaches 15 years of age. Once qualified, you can enjoy a life-time of diving anywhere in the world.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Theory in our pool side classroom followed by swimming pool session to practise diving skills
Day 2 – Theory in the classroom and skills in the swimming pool
Day 3 – 2 Open Water dives in Sosua Bay, Afternoon free
Day 4 – 2 Open Water dives in Sosua Bay. Afternoon free

Inclusions

  • PADI educational materials
  • PADI certification
  • Full Scuba equipment (BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Tank and Weights)
  • Transport between Cabarete and Sosua for Open Water dives
  • Water and snacks on the boat

Please Note

Scuba Diving is a an exciting and demanding activity. When performed correctly, applying correct techniques, it is relatively safe. To undertake a PADI scuba diving course you will need to complete a Medical Statement which will be used to identify whether you need to be examined by a Doctor prior to participating on recreational diver training.

As you would expect with an in water activity you do need to be able to swim to complete your PADI Open Water course. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an olympian but you will need to complete a 10 minute float and a 200m swim.

Cancellation policy

If cancelled up to 1 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire activity price may be charged.
