Diving
The temperature, salinity and clearness of the water are ideal for the growth of coral reefs and for providing food and shelter to a wide range of species. Divers will find manta rays, sharks, turtles, whale shark and shoals of fish. Gorgona is an underwater adventure experience; colorful landscapes, calm waters for divers of any level of certification – even for beginners. The main diving sites are El Remanso, La Tiburonera, La Plaza de Toros, Las Montañitas I y II, La Cazuela, The Park basic diving center has 25 suits, 25 regulators, 35 basic sets of equipment, 43 air tanks, 10 nitrox tanks and 2 compressors.
Whale Watching
Every year the whales swim thousands of miles from the South Pole to the tropical Pacific. The humpback whales make their first appearances off Gorgona in July, there they mate and they give birth in the warm waters of this tropical sea. In November they leave for the cold waters of the south again. The tourist is always impressed by the way they leap out of the sea, spout jets of water into the air, swish their huge tails, and point their fins up to the sky; and people love the baby whales new-born in the warm sea.
Guides and Paths
There are long walks on interpretative footpaths and public sites. There are also Environmental Interpreters on hand to provide the visitor with information on the Park. You must use boots (they can be rented locally).

ITINERARY 8 DAYS – 7 NIGHTS CRUISE ITINERARY: 1.- Flight Bogota – Guapi arriving time 12.30 p.m. motor fast boat– Guapi-Gorgona 2 hours arrive to hotel- In Gorgona and hotel lodging in double room 4 p.m. check dive 2.- 3 dives Gorgona and at 3pm Sail to Mal Pelo 3.- Malpelo 3 dives 4.- Malpelo 3 -4 dives 5.- Malpelo 3 – 4 Dives 6.- Malpelo 3 dives at 5 p.m. navigation to Gorgona 7.- Lunch at the hotel in Gorgona afternoon free to discover the surrounding areas lodging at hotel 8.- Gorgona – Guapi – Bogota
PAYMENT PROCEDURES
1. For confirmation a deposit of 20% is required
2. 50% of the total should be paid 90 days prior the departure date
3. Balance due must be completely paid 60 days prior the departure dates.
CANCELLATIONS AND REIMBURSEMENTS POLICIES
1. Cancellations received up to 120 days before the departure , we refund the total deposit
2. 119-90 days prior the departure, 20% of the total cruise rate will be forfeited
3. 89 – 60 days prior the departure, 50% of the total cruise rate will be forfeited
4. 59 days to the day of departure, 100% of the total cruise rate will be forfeited

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire activity price may be charged.
