Join us in the Dominican Republic to dive in Sosua Bay on the North Coast. Base yourself in the relaxed, friendly but lively town of Cabarete and let us take you diving. Sheltered from the winds, Sosua Bay offers a diverse range of dives including deep dives and the Zingara Wreck.
Every morning we do 2 Tank dives from our own dive boat. Every dive is guided and we take pride in ensuring that you have a wonderful experience whatever your diving level or interests.

By Taxi, Car, Guagua.
From Puerto Plata airport follow route number 5 until you reach the centre of Cabarete. Look for the overhead sign for Banco BHD. Our shop is across the road from the bank

Itinerary
Daily routine (all times are approximate)
8.15am – meet at Dive Shop in centre of Cabarete or collection from your hotel
8.45am – arrive at dive base in Los Charamicos next to Sosua Beach. Organise equipment
9.00am – 500m walk to beach to get on boat
9.20am – arrive at first dive site
10.30am – Surface interval whilst travelling to second dive site or return to dive base
11.30am – second dive
12.30am – return to dive based for shower and filling in log book
1pm – return to Cabarete
Inclusions
- 10 dives
- Full Scuba equipment (BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Tank and Weights)
- Discount available for own equipment
- Transport between Cabarete and Sosua for Open Water dives
- Water and snacks on the boat
Please Note
Certified Divers only.
All divers are required to show their diving certification and sign a PADI liability release prior to diving. Dive Cabarete reserve the right to require divers to take a Scuba Review if necessary because of the length of time since the last dive.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled up to 1 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire activity price may be charged.
