Scuba diving is one of most popular and most commercialized adventure activities. Possibly because it is a great vacation activity where you can spend time in some of the world’s most beautiful places. While there are a few others, the two main scuba certification companies, PADI, and NAUI make sure that all operators around the world are safe, fun and reliable. The term Scuba refers to Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus and is a form of underwater diving where a diver uses a scuba set to breath underwater. The majority of scuba diving takes place on beautiful reefs, but there is plenty more to see underwater in other locations.
