Tussock, Alex and their team at Rangitata Rafts welcome you to join them for a fantastic New Zealand white water rafting experience. Beautifully located in the wild landscape of the Southern Alps and yet only a day trip from Christchurch.
Few other rivers can offer you New Zealand’s most amazing scenery paired with the thrill and excitement of some of the most exciting NZ white water rafting action.
We are proud of the stunning and unique valley in which we work, and love sharing its magic with others. The view alone is worth a million dollars: or so Peter Jackson thought, as these mountains not only form the backdrop for our Spectacular Gorge trip but also for the scene of Edoras in The Lord of the Rings.
We believe in offering you a top quality adventure experience and we make sure we have the time to deliver this. We want you to have a relaxed day enjoying every minute of every aspect – there is so much more to this day than just rafting one of New Zealand’s top white water rivers.
We are proud of maintaining the friendly, relaxed atmosphere our guests rave about.
We understand that different people enjoy varying levels of excitement so we offer two fantastic New Zealand rafting options to cater for your white water rafting requirements – The Spectacular Rangitata Gorge and The Fun Lower Rangitata.
