Come aboard Kona’s largest glass bottom sight seeing boat. This 2.25 hour tour get you out on a family friendly boat to observe sea life above and below. For those that are not ready to snorkel or too young for most other cruises this tour takes all ages with easy access including most disabled travelers.
Watch Wild Spinner Dolphins swim, frolic and jump, while enjoying the panoramic views of the Kona above and below the surface of the ocean. View undersea vistas generally reserved for scuba divers through our large glass bottom wells. During your cruise our on board naturalist will enlighten you on the Historical sites along the coastline, the tropical fish you will see in the giant glass bottom windows and the different species of Dolphin and whales encountered.

Take part in the Kona Cetacean Research Program as we identify Dolphin and Whale behaviors and numbers. All information is submitted to a official doctorate on tourism impacts on Spinner populations in coordination with Coral Reef Alliance and the National Oceanic, Atmospheric Administration. Blue Sea Cruises operates this tour under the Guidelines of NOAA’s Dolphin SMART Program. This program is in effect in Florida to protect the Bottlenose Dolphins and does not allow swimming with or harassment of dolphin behaviors in the wild. NOAA is planning on implementing Dolphin SMART 2011 in Hawaii by NOAA.

Staying at the Hilton, Marriott, Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, Hualulai Four Seasons, or any of the other North Kona accommodations available you drive down Highway 19 going south to Kailua-Kona. 7 miles after the airport stoplight turn right on to Palani Road (3 Flag Poles on the Right at the Corner). The Kailua Pier is at the end of the Palani in front of the King Kamehameha Hotel. There is no parking available directly in front of the pier.
For pay parking you can choose the King Kamehameha Hotel on Palani in back of the hotel. The entrance is on the right after the second stoplight on Palani. Usually runs about $9.Or as you come down Palani Road turn left at the second stoplight onto Kuakini and go south about a block for the free public parking entrance on your right. This is one street above the coastal drive of Alii. There are sidewalks leading down in-between the shops. You will see the pier in the bay as you walk on Alii.
Walk along Alii and go past the chain gate at the end of the pier. Walk out on the pier to find your Blue Sea Cruise’s Vessel for check in. Either the Gold and Blue M/V Spirit of Kona or Blue and White M/V Makai. Check is 30 minutes prior to departure. Here you will find a podium at the loading ramp to the boat manned by our crew to greet you. - City

This is an ocean adventure and conditions may vary. It may not be suitable for some individuals (frail or physically challenged individuals) determination of suitability is at the Captain’s discretion.
All tours are subject to vessel operations, weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances. Marine life is a natural occurrence, and there is no guarantee that dolphins, mantas or other marine life will be seen.
Blue Sea Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service due to safety and or health conditions.
By purchasing passage with Blue Sea Cruises, Inc. you agree to comply with all applicable Hawaii State and US Federal laws rules and regulations as stipulated under United States Coast Guard regulations CFR Title 46. Should you willfully disobey or fail to comply with commands issued by the Captain or Crew you may be removed from the vessel and will not be entitled to a refund.
In the event the activity is booked through a second party agent it is the responsibility of the agent to inform all of their clients of Blue Sea Cruises, Inc. cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before cruise time may incur a $20 per person booking fee.
Cancellations prior to 48 hours before cruise time will be fully refunded. No refunds are available for cancellations with 24 hours of the tour departure time.
Should Blue Sea Cruises, Inc. cancel for any reason all monies collected for the tour will be refunded within 10 days.
For Custom Charters:
A 50% deposit is required to book the reservation. The 50% deposit less a 10% administrative fee is refundable up to 14 days prior to the event time and date.
The deposit is not refundable if the event is cancelled within 14 days of the event time and date.
Payment in full is required seven days prior to event and is non-refundable if event is cancelled by the customer.

Cancellation policy
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire activity price may be charged.
