Caving adventure sports

Caving, spelunking (USA), or potholing (UK), is a sport where enthusiasts explore underground caves. These may be walked in, but frequently narrow passages and steep drops require the use of ropes and crawling through tight spaces. Some may even negotiate difficult underwater sections in a cave, which offer a high degree of danger. The payoff is to sometimes see beautiful cave formations that few human eyes have seen.
